Madrid, Spain
During the summer months, temperatures rise dramatically in the Spanish capital, so spring is the perfect time to explore Madrid. Green parks and blooming flowers, longer days and pleasant spring sunshine. When the weather is nice, you can walk around Madrid's biggest attractions, from El Retiro to the Plaza Mayor. Amsterdam, Netherlands
The city of a thousand canals turns into a flourishing capital in the spring months, offering a host of outdoor leisure activities. The parks come alive in the springtime, and the festival on King's Day, which celebrates the king's birthday, is also a feast for the eyes. Spring weather in the Dutch capital can be quite unpredictable, whether it's sunny or windy and grey, but even in the case of the latter, there's something to do here. In case of bad weather, visit some interesting indoor museums and attractions: the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the Heineken Experience.
Dublin, Ireland
On sunny spring days, Dublin turns into a vibrant city with a range of food and music festivals. One of the biggest festivals is coming up in early June called “Bloom in the Park” in Phoenix Park. The latter is considered one of the most beautiful European parks, which blooms in all its beauty during spring days. The Irish capital offers a range of outdoor activities to enjoy when the weather is nice, as well as indoor activities to hide from the island's capricious climate.
San Sebastián, Spain
In the Basque Country lies the wonderful town of San Sebastian, which combines both the modern and the traditional. The tradition can be felt in the delicious local cuisine that you can taste in many of the city's restaurants, and you can also discover the strong identity of the Basques while wandering around the alleys. The city is divided into three areas, each of which boasts an idyllic sandy beach - Concha, Ondarreta and Zurriola beaches. They are especially popular among surfers who catch the wind and waves here.
Keukenhof, Netherlands
In the spring months, the flower park turns into a true paradise for flower lovers, especially tulips. One of the most important Dutch attractions is located a short drive from Amsterdam, and in the springtime it blooms with more than 7 million flowers. The gardens, with as many as four pavilions, require at least a day of your time so that you can take a peaceful walk among the flower beds and admire the colorful flowers. Tulips are also accompanied by orchids, roses, carnations, irises, lilies and other flowering plants.
