If we imagine that we have invented most things in modern times, we are very much mistaken. Some inventions that are part of our everyday life go back so far that we cannot imagine. The same story applies to the rubber we know on the soles of our shoes. Modern technology has played its part and we got a very special flip-flop.
You've probably tried running in flip-flops, better known as 'flip-flops'. After a few steps, you probably gave up, because the feat is almost like running in ski boots.
At to Iguaneye they wanted to put an end to it. They made an ergonomically designed flip-flop Iguana Jungle, which actually consists of 2 parts. Namely, the sole in perfectly fits the shape of your foot, and the part that separates the thumb from the other fingers is protected. The company drew inspiration from the Amazonian Indians, who soaked their feet in liquid rubber from the rubber tree to (protect) them. The two parts of the loafer that you need to assemble together are printed in 3D technology. The flip flops consist of materials Duraform Flex and Duraform TPU, which are extremely durable and stretchy materials.
The Iguaneye Jungle slippers will be available from December 7 on the Indiegogo funding platform at a price of 49 euros.
