Ljubljana is richer for a very special gallery in which there is a lot of weaving and interweaving. The Niti Niti wool sales gallery is the only one of its kind in Slovenia, and its purpose is to spread the culture of using wool and unique hand-knitted products of the highest quality. Architect Simona Muc wants to present the hand-knitted products of the world's best designers and artists with the gallery. Currently, the clothes of Johanna av Steinum, a well-known designer from the Faroe Islands, the dresses and sweaters of Igor Galaš, one of the promising young fashion designers, and the hand-knitted products of Simone Muc under her own brand Se mi plete have found their home there. In addition to clothing, Niti Niti also exhibits hand-knitted art objects. Among them we find stools and rugs by the Dutch conceptual artist Christien Meindertsma, and Bla Bla toys and children's backpacks by the French designer Florence Wetterwald. The Niti Niti wool gallery does not want to be just a shop, but rather a place where visitors can view exceptional knitwear, exchange knitting experiences and enjoy a chat in a pleasant atmosphere.
