The first part of the concert will be dedicated to the memory of three great composers: Henryk M. Górecki (1933-2010), Alojz Srebotnjak (1931-2010) and Gustav Mahler (1860-1911). The soloists will be soprano Nina Kompare Volasko and tenor Edvard Strah.
The second part of the concert will be followed by the performance of the cantata Lux Aeterna (Morten Lauridsen). The orchestra will be joined by a 120-member choir consisting of singers from the MePZ Adoramus Logatec, MePZ Stanko Premrl Podnanos and Mladinsko MePZ Rovte.
