The Zajčja Dobrava inn is located in a clearing in the middle of the forest in Nové Polje. It has a long tradition, but it shone in today's light recently, when it got a new owner. Their cuisine is based on international cuisine, and specialties include baked rabbit, veal, lamb and kid. In the tastefully decorated antique interior, you can also try Serbian gibanica, venison pate with capers, all kinds of "grilled dishes", gnocchi with truffles, buckwheat porridge with porcini mushrooms, fish dishes or various homemade desserts, among which the particularly delicious baklava and panna cotta. In the spring, when it warms up a bit, their terrace is what attracts visitors. While enjoying the culinary specialties, we sit almost next to the tree, the birds sing to us. We can watch our children from the table as they play on one of the two playgrounds, run through the forest or ride the owner's horses. In September, they organize a cabbage festival, where they roast a bull and prepare all kinds of cabbage dishes. Zajčja Dobrava got its name from the rabbits, which are plentiful around here. And rabbit is also the dish for which they have always been famous. They are served with rabbit ragu soup, baked rabbit or baked rabbit with plums and bacon. Despite the large selection of meat specialties, even vegetarians will not go home hungry - homemade mushroom soup, eggplant with tomatoes and mozzarella and many more dishes made from seasonal fresh vegetables will make sure of that. There is certainly no need to waste words on the possibility of a walk and recreation after a delicious meal.
