Instagram will get some new features, including making it easier to search for older posts in "stories" and help with online abuse.
Instagram has announced new interesting features that are currently still in the testing phase. Let's see what awaits us.
Archive of "stories" will now offer a new review via calendar, which shows the months in which you will be able to see when you published a single "story" and a map with the location. The new function is hidden in the Archive menu under your profile (click on the three lines in the upper right corner). There you will find an archive of your "stories", which, of course, disappear from the radar of your followers within 24 hours, but remain available to you. You can browse the "stories" until 2017. If you wish, you can share again.
As for measures against online violence, features have been added that will automatically hidden comments, similar to those reported for abuse. They will not be completely deleted, you will be able to view them by tapping the button View hidden comments. Users who repeatedly post potentially offensive content will get it warnings. This should make people think about whether they actually want to continue posting content like this.
