On Tuesday, June 9, the Gallus Hall of Cankarjev dom will once again host the international chanson festival La vie en rose 2015 for the last time. They will be dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Edith Piaf and a selection of the most interesting performers of the 15-year history of the La vie en rose festival.
The last international festival of chansons will be as lively as all the previous ones. 100th anniversary of the one and only Edith Piaf, with which the story also began La vie en rose, we will celebrate together with the singer and actress Jasna Bilušić, who shines in the role of Piaf to a standing ovation for the thirteenth year after the premiere at the Komedija theater in Zagreb. It is actually difficult to decide what makes Jasna Bilušić better and more interesting. Even before she began to achieve acting success, she made a notable career as a jazz singer in Croatia. Boško Petrović discovered her gift and was also her mentor. She performed at many jazz festivals at home and abroad and collaborated with outstanding musicians from all over the world. She impressed the audience with her incredible acting expressiveness and excellent interpretation of Edith Piaf. Regular visitors to the Café Theater already know it well, but others can let themselves be surprised.
The great one will once again bring the immortal Brel to the stage with his experienced interpretation of La vie en Rose Mouron. A real French chanson from the homeland of the chanson, Paris. An inhabitant of the world, a velvet voice of poetry and a great actor returns to one of his homelands, as so many times before They like Šerbedžija. They will also be with us: Jure Ivanušič, Jani Kovačič, Mia Žnidarič, Severa Gjurin, Nina Strnad and Azra Alibegić, Gal Gjurin and Temna banda, Andraž Hribar, Same babe, Tadej Vesenjak, Lara Jankovič, united in a duet called Open Tina Marinšek and Marko Vezovišek. We have another surprise waiting for us.

Of course, it was not possible to invite everyone who has enthralled us for these fifteen years to this grand finale, but you will certainly enjoy the interpretations of the artists who were the most frequent and characteristic companions of the festival. This is also why on June 9 it will again be exciting, varied, original, as every time in the sold-out Gallus hall, except this time for the last time.
She will be the host of the evening Vita Mavrič, which also took care of the idea concept and artistic direction.
