The pop-up festival Kurzschluss is coming to Ljubljana on April 14. The first guest of this year's edition will be Luciano, a global megastar, festival star and long-awaited winner of five Best DJ Awards.
A special feature of your music is the Latin sign, which we love in your sets. Where does he come from?
Chile is my second country. At an early age, I realized that music was becoming an increasingly important part of my way of life, expression and interaction with people. I didn't resist that. Opposite. I always try to reinterpret the irreplaceable Latin beat, follow it and offer it to my listeners in an ever-fresh guise.
Can you tell us the secret of your creative process?
I listen to a lot of acoustic music, jazz, Latin music and I always try to translate the feeling of Latin rhythms into electronic music. This is sometimes difficult because electronic music has more rules and legalities. In comparison, Latin music is much more fluid, often more sensual. In my music I try to express my emotions, intuitions and share my feelings with fans and electronic music lovers.

Making music is often very intimate and personally confessional. Do you have a favorite music studio, do you find inspiration on the road, at festivals?
We create music every day. Even subconsciously. The creative process should not be limited to just one place, place or even time period. Creating is most often the path that I like to tread every time.
What is your message for kurzschluss students?
The agent confided in me that Kurzschluss is an extraordinary experience. I am preparing a three-hour set for the visit, with which we will take off and enjoy the wonderful rhythms of electronic music. See you at Kurzschluss (laughs).
