Phillipe Starck, together with the Brazilian brand Ipanema, impressed us with unique minimalist sandals last year - recently he released this year's collection, with which he took a step forward, stopping environmentally friendly sandals that can be recycled.
French designer Philippe Starck is in collaboration with Ipanema launched the latest collection handmade sandals, which are possible in full recycle. This one includes six different designs, which will be available in a wide range of colors.
Before starting to create, the designer set a goal to use but a small amount of materials. He wants to convince customers with elegantly and timeless footwear that fits their feet perfectly. Manufacturers relied on foam EVA, which is renowned as a soft yet durable material that provides lightness and flexibility.
The collection includes both sandals as well as simple flip flops with or without heel support. The price of the products varies between 35 and 55 $, which is approximately between 31 and 49 €.
