Game of Thrones just finished its seventh season, and only one more has been announced. So, for a long time now, the question has been raised as to what will be the next hit that could replace this extremely popular series. We may get an answer this year with the Britannia series.
A new series is coming out in the fall Britannia, which will draw its content from history. It will tell the story of the year 43, when the Roman army tried to meet the Celtic core of Britain. Mysterious landscapes where they rule female warriors and druids, who use the mighty forces of the underworld. Well, that's what their reputation is supposed to be.
The series is the fruit of the production Sky Atlantic, and in the main roles we will follow many old acquaintances of the television screens. So here they are, among other things Kelly Reilly (season two of True Detective), David Morrissey (Living Dead). It is not yet known when the series will premiere, but it is expected to be this year.
