The island of Tijan lies south of Tribunj and Vodice and west of Prvić. They are waiting for you here beautiful beaches and crystal clear sea, so it's no wonder that you will always find someone on the island who was seduced by the beauty of this piece of paradise on Earth. The most popular area of the island (and anchorage) is Tijašćica bay on the south side.
One of the attractions of the island is a large iron cross, which has been there since 1933. They are connected with it many stories and legends, and a grave with inscriptions in Glagolitic is said to have been found next to it. From the top of the island, nostunning view of the surroundings - the islands of Prvić, Zlarin, Kaprije, Kornati, Vodice and Šibenik - the sunrises and sunsets here are scenes that will remain in your memory for a lifetime. Estimated to be on an island around 2,500 olive trees, but due to the mouflons that inhabited the island in 1992, today the number of olives has significantly decreased.
So if you're going to land in Vodice or its surroundings this year, rent a jet ski or a boat and escape to this island for a few hours to enjoy its charms!
