Following the series of photographs entitled Dancing with Costică, Australian artist and photographer Jane Long has created imaginative surreal photographs that date back more than 50 years. She colored old black and white photos and brought them to life in a very special way.
Australian artist and a photographer Jane Long skillfully used her imagination to colorize old black and white photos she found in an online archive Flickr and are the property of a Romanian war photographer by name Costică Acsinte. He created the photographs during the First World War and died in 1984, but that does not mean that his work died with him. Quite the opposite.
There are photos Long's so fascinated that it is part of a series of photographs with the title Dancing with Costică with some magic and old photo manipulation skills to Ascinte's photographs added colors and brought them to life in a unique way like this. She changed and played with both the composition and the location. The artist proudly explains that in addition to life, she also wanted to breathe a story into them.
