People are not blind! They noticed several fake "Instagrammers" and decided to expose them online.
No matter how beautiful and "perfect" the photos you see in your Instagram "feed" are, not all of them are real. Some are so heavily edited and altered to the point of bordering on the bizarre. We know, it sounds unbelievable that someone would lie so much on the internet!
This is where the band comes in Instagram Reality, which can be found on Reddit. This is a community that seeks out and highlights the most bizarrely edited or "retouched" photos on Instagram. Moderator Cluelessnumber7 explained to Bored Panda the negative impact of heavily edited photos. “The unrealistic expectations that influencers create with this influence their followers: incredibly smooth skin, almond eyes, big lips, sharp jaw lines, slim hourglass figures, etc. Posting photos like this requires choosing the right outfit, the right lighting, choosing which hand to take selfies with (yes, seriously), and that's before Facetune smoothes out the skin and changes the body shape or size of individual body parts. Without revealing it, there are countless people right now comparing themselves (and possibly spending money to look the same) to a person who doesn't exist.”
Although there is nothing wrong with using an artistic filter on a photo that changes the colors a bit, it can happen that we start overdoing the filters. Soon there are so many of these changes that we can no longer recognize the person in the photo. The reasons why people long to turn into "perfect" human beings are "insecurity, envy and money", as well as avoiding embarrassment because they feel that certain parts of their body or face are not "good enough" for Instagram.
However, be aware that natural photos have much more charm because they are authentic, honest, and more people can relate to them.
