The video space "Night Flight" by the director and video artist Jasna Hribernik is a sequence of spatial video-sound installations that by themselves do not start or end anywhere. They hint at our limitation by gravity and the possibility of overcoming it, as well as the learned limits of perception. They lead us in search of meditative voids within the saturation of urban life.
Jasna Hribernik is known to the general public primarily as a director. She made a whole series of excellent documentaries for national television, she also directed music videos and presentations of art and artists. She also worked as an assistant director in many feature films and international co-productions. She creates as a video artist who explores the possibilities of combining moving images with sculpture, architecture and music in her video installations. The images he composes are recordings of some generally recognizable events or places, or they are records of completely personal observations and experiences.
In the process of creating images, he devotes a lot of time to researching the artistic possibilities of video images, in which its cinematic roots and admiration for artistic, or author's, films remain visible.
Jasna Hribernik creates an impressive video architecture for the viewer by layering the moving image, which opens up the spaces between the projections.
Projections are performed in Blu Ray technology.
