The 2024 Jeep Wrangler makes a grand entrance with refreshed looks, innovative technology and the addition of new trim levels - the Wrangler Sport S 4xe and Rubicon X. Ready for the off-road world, it boasts powerful performance and off-road-ready features.
Jeep Wrangler has been an off-road icon for decades, and the 2024 model is no exception. New ones Jeep Wrangler 2024, unveiled at the 2023 New York Auto Show, features a sleeker design, a larger touchscreen and two new trim levels to improve its off-road capabilities.
External micro, or rather subtle changes - Jeep Wrangler 2024
Jeep Wrangler 2024 has refreshed Wrangler's iconic grille with seven of clubs and made it smaller but still effective. Black slots are designed to improve engine cooling and they make room for the factory-installed 8,000-pound (3,629 kg) warning winch available on Rubicon models. To satisfy all preferences, Jeep offers a wide range of factory wheels – from 17-inch (43 cm) wheels to 20-inch (50 cm) wheels – and new premium choices for hard and soft tops. In the name of aerodynamics, the Wrangler also has a "stealth" antenna built into the windshield.
Technical Upgrades – Jeep Wrangler 2024
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler features a massive 12.3-inch (31 cm) center touchscreen that replaces the round air conditioning vents in the center of the dashboard. The latest Uconnect 5 system offers a number of connected services, including the first factory-available Trails Offroad digital guide with built-in off-road routes. Premium subscription expands the catalog to more than 3000 routes.
New Trims and Equipment - 2024 Jeep Wrangler
Equipment Sport S 4xe and Rubicon X join the Wrangler lineup for 2024. The Sport S 4xe brings plug-in hybrid power to lower-spec trims that include 20-inch wheels and driver assistance systems. The Rubicon X offers more performance and technology with features such as 12-way adjustable front seats, a nine-speaker Alpine stereo, Nappa leather seats, integrated off-road campers and more.
Underneath the refreshed exterior, Rubicon models get a new solid Dana 44 HD Full Float rear axle. A new 100:1 crawl ratio is available, and all 4xe hybrid models now come with a Power Box battery pack with four 120-volt outlets. More than 85 active and passive safety systems, including improved structural reinforcement for side impacts, make the 2024 Wrangler safer.
Powertrains and plans for the future
The Wrangler's powertrain options remain unchanged through 2024, including a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, a 3.6-liter V6, a 4x 2.0-liter turbo plug-in hybrid, and a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 in the Rubicon 392. An eight-speed automatic is available everywhere, while four-cylinder and V6 models can use a six-speed manual transmission. Jeep also announced plans to electrify the entire lineup by 2025.
Prices for Jeep Wrangler for 2024 have not yet been revealed.
