Zak from Claremont University, he did research, who confirmed that people who have developed empathy cry at movies. Zak claims that we know the story we're following in the movie is fictional and not real (well, maybe it was once), but we just have to cry at the emotional scenes.

2. It's all oxytocin's fault

It's the hormone that controls our neurotransmitters when we watch something moving. Through it, we connect with the story and feelings of others. This hormone makes us empathize and become sensitive to the suffering of others, while at the same time this hormone makes us happy.

3. We are not afraid to show our emotions

Those who are not embarrassed to cry when something moves them are actually psychologically stronger than those who hide their feelings. Therefore, they are braver and ready to show what they feel without fear of being judged. This too is due to oxytocin, which allows us to stand up for what we believe is right!

Zak proved that those who weep openly know the healing power of tears. Crying connects us to others and teaches us what positively or negatively affects our environment, and we then become sensitive to it.

5. We don't suppress our emotions

These are people who know that sometimes it is necessary to take some time to understand what is happening to them and express it through tears. This leads to greater emotional stability, which is why these people are stronger than those who hide their emotions.

6. We don't care about the prejudices or expectations of others

We've all heard a hundred times that "big boys" don't cry. Many boys are taught from a very early age that showing emotion and crying in public will make them weak. But this is a natural human reaction that has nothing to do with gender!
