Under the name Sorento, most people already know the biggest SUV of the fast-growing Korean brand Kia, which is preparing the third generation of this model for the fall. This has grown and in terms of dimensions approached the premium competition among medium-sized SUVs, and accordingly got more powerful engines, and more equipment and advanced technology inside.
Sorento of the third generation is in length grown for almost 10 centimeters, now measures 4.78 meters, the wheelbase has been extended by as much as eight centimeters, and it is also longer in width and height. Design-wise, it continues the vision of Peter Schreyer and his characteristic "tiger nose", as the name of the characteristic image of the front part of the vehicles of this Korean brand caught on, and at the same time it upgrades the shape of the current generation Sorento, with which the kinship is clearly visible. The narrow lights are cut deep towards the middle of the fenders, the roof falls gently towards the rear, and the rear part is characterized by LED lights, which are a little reminiscent of those of the Audi Q7, and a nicely visible spoiler above the tailgate gives it a sporty touch.

Koreans are still quite tight-fisted when it comes to the appearance and contents of the interior, but pictures of the passenger cabin will surely leak online in the coming weeks. But it should be very spacious and offer a lot of new content in the form of advanced technology and assistance systems. Also little is known about the drivetrain, but surely all engines will be in accordance with euro6 to environmental protection standards, we can expect 2.0 and 2.2 diesels, as well as hybrid version. In South Korea, sales start already at the end of the month, in our country it should be until the end of the year.
