Known for years as a synonym for practicality and family comfort, the Kia Sportage returns for 2025 with a visual overhaul. But this is not just a cosmetic procedure - the new generation combines a futuristic design, technological improvements and more powerful engines. This is the heavily redesigned 2025 Kia Sportage.

New image Kia Sportage 2025 brings a renewed front mask and headlights that follow modern guidelines and a design language recognizable from related models such as Sorrento and EV6. The key change is in the square shape of the mask and the vertically positioned LED headlights Starmap Signature Lighting, which give the vehicle a higher and more powerful appearance.

The rear of the vehicle maintains a classic silhouette, but with minimalist lines and animated lighting that provides a modern impression when unlocked. The bumper has also been redesigned and now blends elegantly with the body, contributing to a more refined appearance. The new design of the aluminum rims brings a touch of modernity and freshness to the vehicle.

Comfortable and technologically advanced interior

The interior of the Sportage 2025 offers a modern design with improved ergonomics and functionality. The new, more horizontally designed dashboard allows for even more space and transparency. The central element is the panoramic curved screen that combines the instrument panel and the infotainment system. This design creates a futuristic feel and allows the driver to have all the information at their fingertips.

New air vents provide improved air circulation throughout the cabin, while a new multi-function steering wheel with a polygonal design provides unique style and ergonomics. Technological improvements include a 3D camera display, lane change assistant and an advanced emergency braking system that also detects motorcyclists for the first time.

A wide range of powertrains

The Kia Sportage 2025 for the South Korean market offers a variety of powertrain options tailored to a wide variety of driver needs. There is a 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine with 180 horsepower (132 kW), now mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. For those who want moderate electrification, there is also a mild hybrid version with also 180 horsepower, but with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The offer also includes a 2.0-liter LPG (weighted petroleum gas) engine that develops 146 horsepower (107 kW) and provides an affordable and ecologically acceptable alternative. A wider choice is planned for the European market, which will most likely include a full hybrid and a plug-in hybrid, although the exact technical data has not yet been confirmed.
