Slovenia hides countless natural treasures and Klevevž is undoubtedly one of them. The green tourist pearl of Dolenjska is known for the thermal water in the stone pool, which warms both in summer and winter with its 21 to 25 degrees Celsius. Ah, another dream destination of our beautiful country.
Blasphemy is located near the place Šmarješke Toplice, and a breakthrough gorge with smaller waterfalls is created here by the Radulja stream. This beautiful corner, which the locals call Klevevška toplica, is actually a stone pool with a hypothermal spring of pure water, where the water is heated to at least 21 degrees Celsius even in winter. This means that we can soak in it even in winter!
The visit to Klevevž is ideal idea for a day trip. They are still nearby castle park with mill, other thermal springs and KRAS Caves, which are located under the former Klevevž castle, of which only a part of the castle wall remains today. The caves, Zgornja and Spodnja Klevevško caves, in which, among other things, endemic underground animals and prehistoric ceramics were discovered, are unfortunately not yet arranged for tourist tours. However, the Spodnja Klevevška cave, in addition to the exceptional fauna and finds, is interesting above all because it has so far the only known thermal cave in our country. And if you're already in the area, you can of course jump to Šmarješke toplice, where soaking will probably be a bit more comfortable.
