Recently released photos of the Versace Spring/Summer 2014 collection reveal a new collaboration with singer Lady Gaga.
Photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott portrayed the pop star in the classic Italian style typical of the fashion brand Versace. Lounging on a satin sofa, decked out in rich jewelry and a light purple evening gown, with straight long platinum hair Lady Gaga strongly reminiscent of the first lady of fashion, Donatella Versace. This is definitely not a coincidence, as the mentioned fashion icon has been friends for a long time. As he says Donatella, with the new collection, wanted to capture Gaga's true beauty and spirit, which she is supposed to embody Versace's DNA.
On the other hand, the singer's latest album Artpop also has a song with the title Donatella. The lavender-colored wearable creation has already seen the light of day at the recent AMAs, where it Lady Gaga surprised again, this time by arriving on a white horse.
New campaign "Lady Gaga for Versace" will be fully unveiled to the public in January, until then you can follow the details on social media via the hashtag #VVersaceLovesGaga.
