Land Rover has introduced an 'addition' to the Discovery model range, for the 2023 model year, with the top-level Metropolitan Edition.
Land Rover Discovery Metropolitan Edition it uses the R-Dynamics HSE equipment level as its starting point. It adds bright inserts in the hood and Discovery logo and light gray inserts in the lower part of the bumper. ʺObutaʺ has rims in size 22-inch, with diamond grinding and gray painted inner parts of the rim. The brake pads are colored black. Inside, it offers Titanium Mesh decoration, and part of the standard equipment is a projection screen, a heated steering wheel, a refrigerated compartment between the front seats and a four-zone climate control system. The third the row of seats is heated and electronically adjustable.
The Discovery Metropolitan Edition will have only one engine available, namely a gasoline turbine 3.0 liter regular 6-cylinder with 48-volt mild hybrid technology, which produces 360 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. It is connected with 8-speed automatic transmission, and it can tow up to 3,719 kilograms heavy cargo. Less equipped versions of the Discovery will also experience some upgrades, and all will have a drawer for wireless charging of devices, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, three-zone climate control and a Meridian audio system as standard.
