The fashion house Dior surprised this time with a slightly different dress exhibition than usual. It is about their most famous (and also the most beautiful) dresses made in miniature, which were exhibited in China under the title Le Petit Théâtre Dior.
Even before the establishment of the fashion house Dior, it is Christian Dior acknowledged that the noble work of a craftsman is inseparable from haute couture.
Each miniature dress is only one-third the size of the original and is fundamentally produced on toile cotton, in the purest tradition of haute couture, demanding precision and rigor. Each extremely realistic silk flower is handcrafted in the same way as the artisans in in the 18th century. Just like the original Miss Dior the dress, which was created in 1949, even its miniature version, made only for the exhibition, blooms in bouquets of roses, jasmine and lilies. It is true that all the details are made in miniature, but they look magnificent.
