LG V40 ThinQ: Five cameras, one phone

LG informs customers why they should make a decision. So far, this manufacturer has advocated an ultra-wide angle in its phones in addition to the classic photographic view, some others (Apple, Huawei, Samsung...) offer two or three times magnification ("zoom"). Now, the LG V40 ThinQ brings the full trio of cameras in one phone, with a normal and wide view on the front for selfies.

LG V40 ThinQ, the successor to the V30 (or V35), is so the first phone with as many as five photographic lenses and sensors. They are the main thing here radically improved the sensor compared to its predecessor and the G7 ThinQ, as it now has an excellent f/1.5 aperture value with 1.4 µm dots instead of the G7's 1 µm. It allows this, at least in theory much better low-light capture and less noise in all conditions. The other two modules are slightly less powerful, wide angle is the same as we already know from LG's previous phones, "telephoto lens" and offers twice as close to the subject compared to the standard view and 3.7 times compared to the wide-angle view.

At the heart of the phone is the screen OLED with a diagonal of 6.4 inches and a QHD+ resolution.  The processor is now standard for high-end mobile phones Snapdragon 845, battery capacity of a solid 3300 mAh. But they included it for the first time fast wireless charging (Qi). For resilience the V40 ThinQ is IP68 certified and meets the US military standard. Since it's LG, it kept the phone headphone output and a 32-bit audio converter (DAC). There is memory six gigabytes, and 64 or 128 GB for data. We expect a retail price of around 900 euros, but it is currently unknown when it will arrive in Slovenia.
