Headphones are originally intended for listening to music. However, this does not mean that they cannot perform other functions. This is also the thinking of LG, which wants to take a step forward.
LG has surprised its fans with headphones that support the service Google Assistant. The model they named “Tone Platinum SE", includes button, which can also be found on a smartphone G7. With its help, the digital assistant will be able to be called up without a voice command.
The headphones also contain mono speaker and ear plugs, which do not isolate sound from the surroundings when listening.
LG believes that the new button will be particularly convenient to use translator. During a conversation in a foreign language, you will not have to say the phrase "to activate the tool"OK Google". Still, it will be hard to convince people not to simply use their phone to translate.
Information on the release date, price and availability of the headset is not yet available. They will most likely be revealed at the conference IFA, which will take place in Berlin between August 31 and September 5.
