The Light Phone was first released last year. The model was intended exclusively for making calls. Only 9 phone numbers can be stored in it. This is in stark contrast to smartphones with a wide range of different features. Now they have decided to release the Light Phone 2, which has significantly more features and a higher utility value.
Because the first model was a bit too limited, the creators decided to try their luck with the second one. To the phone Light Phone 2 they added so more functions. Although it still adheres to minimalist principles, it is significantly more useful than its predecessor.
Unlike the Light Phone, which offered a 10-digit keypad, the Light Phone 2 has E-Ink touch screen. Enables using the 4G network and writing messages. The creators plan to add more functions to it in the future, such as, for example maps and music player.

The Light Phone 2 will not be available to customers for some time. It is only expected to be tested by users April 2019.
