The Lincoln Model L100 is a long, low and extremely aerodynamic futuristic concept that draws on Lincoln's rich automotive past and shows the brand's plans for the future.
Lincoln's Model 1922 L car is said to be the inspiration for the futuristic concept Lincoln Model L100, but they don't really have much more in common than two rows of seats and a long wheelbase. The L100 model is electric concept, which boasts organic aerodynamic lines.
The concept opens in a graceful way, in the reverse direction of what we are used to in today's cars. In this case, the doors extend over the entire length of the concept, and the roof also opens, making it even easier for passengers to get in and out. Inside, one can notice the absence of ʺcontrolʺ elements, as it is a completely autonomous concept. The interior is comfortable and has four seats available. Only they all face the direction of travel, and the front seats offer rotation for the rear 180˚. The central console in the middle of the car represents the control screen, and on it we even find digital checkerboard. The floor of the car is also digital, and inside there are also a lot of light fixtures that conjure up a pleasant atmosphere for the passengers.
The Lincoln Model L100 concept is just that study of the future and therefore as such does not offer any power, battery size or range figures. It's more of a design study than anything, but we never know if any of the ideas will actually appear on a production Lincoln model.
