Using high-quality materials such as Armor Aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Armor, the S24 series not only looks great, but also provides enhanced durability and protection. So, Samsung takes an extra step forward in this area. It improves on the well-known smartphone concept and doesn't drastically change it - it just improves it. This means that it will be extremely difficult for you to identify the new device if you are not a tech journalist. Which, in principle, is good for all owners of the S23 series, who will still feel great and do not need to immediately change their phone this year in order to stay in touch with Samsung's "trends".

The Android smartphone king of the world is pushing the bar with specifications this year and making it difficult for the competition. It is true, however, that one should not expect a great revolution here, but rather an evolutionary improvement, which in principle is "a little" boring. But that's how it is with great products - even with its direct competitor, the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Display: The Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a 6.8-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display that supports 120Hz refresh and HDR10+ for a vibrant picture with a brightness of up to 2600 nits. With 1440 x 3088 pixels and a density of 501 ppi, the screen is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 3.

Processor and Memory: The device will be powered by a Qualcomm SM8650-AC Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip (4 nm) with eight cores (1×3.3 GHz Cortex-X4, 5×3.2 GHz Cortex-A720, 2×2.3 GHz Cortex-A520) and an Adreno 750 GPU ( 1 GHz). It will be available in 256GB/12GB RAM, 512GB/12GB RAM and 1TB/12GB RAM configurations, all with UFS 4.0 technology.

8K video recording, but the S24 Ultra enhances these features with its advanced sensor system and AI support, which together deliver better results in various lighting conditions. While the S23 Ultra has already set the bar high, the S24 Ultra raises those standards even higher, offering photography enthusiasts and professionals even more options to create stunning visuals.

Battery and charging: The Galaxy S24 Ultra will be equipped with a non-removable Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery. It supports 45W wired charging that charges 65% batteries in 30 minutes, 15W wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

Additional features: The phone will be waterproof (up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes) according to the IP68 standard. It also includes a Stylus with Bluetooth connectivity and sensors such as an accelerometer and a gyroscope. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will run Android 14 with One UI 6.1.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+ are both high-end smartphones with similar features, but the S24+ brings a larger screen (6.7 inches vs. 6.2 inches) with a higher resolution and a bigger battery, which means longer battery life. Here, the difference between 4000 mAh and 4900 mAh is almost logical because of the screen size. The only significant difference in memory and RAM size between the two models suggests that the S24+ is aimed more at users who need more performance and more storage space. Therefore, only the S24 model is available with 128 GB. There are no differences in other things, even compared to the S24 Ultra.

The biggest difference is the cameras, which are of course slightly worse compared to the S24 Ultra, but still at the very top. The Samsung Galaxy S24 is equipped with a powerful and versatile camera that promises quality images in a variety of photography scenarios. The main camera is a 50 MP wide-angle sf/1.8 aperture that allows for clear and detailed images. In addition, there is a 10 MP telephoto camera with zf/2.4 aperture that offers 3x optical zoom and enables the capture of distant objects with exceptional clarity. The third camera is a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle sf/2.2 aperture, ideal for capturing wider landscapes or group photos. This three-system approach provides flexibility and coverage of a wide range of photographic situations. The Galaxy S24 also supports 8K video recording, allowing users to create extremely high-quality videos.

The start of the AI era for Samsung

Years ago, Samsung bet on "concrete" cooperation with Microsoft, which has been making great strides in the field of artificial intelligence in the last year, mainly due to close cooperation with OpenAI, for which they drive the entire artificial intelligence infrastructure. This is also why we believe that Samsung and its partners are creating something that we can call personalized artificial intelligence on your smartphone.
In addition to the naturally improved camera AI features, we expect the Galaxy S24 series to include special AI features that could go beyond traditional camera enhancements.
