Towards the end of my studies, despite my endless love for design, I seriously wondered if I even wanted to be a designer, because the way the fashion industry works is not close to me at all. Something compelled me to persist, to find different ways of doing things and to make people aware of all this. I want to create socially responsible, local and sustainable clothes. I don't want to define myself in terms of the season, the purpose or the target group of the clothes. When creating my collections, I always start from myself and from my personal life.
What does a presentation at LJFW mean to a designer?
We are talking about the central fashion event in Slovenia, so I am honored to present myself alongside established local designers. The upcoming collection is a kind of milestone for me, as it represents the beginning of my independent design journey, and it is very important to me to be able to present my aesthetics and my story to as wide a circle of people as possible.

Inspiration, an idea for the autumn-winter 2016 collection?
For some time now, I have been drawing my inspiration from archetypal characters who, I could almost say, call me whatever they call themselves. The previous collection featured a witch/wild woman, this time it will be a goddess/priestess. It is a commitment to continuous growth and spiritual development, but completely grounded, through the challenges of everyday life, through your body. I was inspired by the Sumerian goddess Inanna, who combines love and war, holiness and sexuality, light and dark, in short, the many oppositions that each of us combines within ourselves, that are part of us and that we must embrace.
The title of the collection?
INANNA.
How many times at fashion weeks?
I first presented at LJFW as part of NTF magazine last year, with the Witches lookbook collection, for which I received the award for the best collection, which in turn brought me this year's solo presentation
