The third day of the Ljubljana Fashion Week started in a youthful, playful and, above all, creative spirit. Students of textile and clothing design from the Faculty of Design, an affiliated member of the University of Primorska, presented their creations. In the 2nd semester of the academic year 2016/2017, first and second year students researched the works of the famous architect Jože Plečnik and transformed them into newly created forms of clothing in a modern way on the occasion of the 145th anniversary of his birth and the 60th anniversary of his death. The third-year students presented themselves with independent collections that carry distinctly personal stories of young talents.
The evening sets of fashion shows were opened by two Hungarian designers. As an interesting point, we can mention that the first, Celeni, designed, among other things uniforms for athletes of the Hungarian national team Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. Then there were other fashion treats, a colorful mix of materials, shapes and style, and on the catwalk the creation of the Serbian star Boško Jakovljević walked Samuel Paljk, who is one of the most desirable Slovenian male models. Among the individual sets of fashion shows, which by the way have so far received loud applause from the visitors, guests can also see an exhibition of jewelry designers Olga Košice and The hand of Marinško, which the two artists, who work under the name olgafacesrok, put on a rotating stage.
