On May 23, 2015, the first Ljubljana Fotosej will be presented in the renovated premises of the former Merkur, now Vivo 125D.
The first Ljubljana Fotosejem will offer the entire range in one place providers of photographic equipment, a wide range of program content as well as the possibility purchase or exchange various products intended for photography.
The only Slovenian international photo exhibition the Slovenian public already knows it, having hosted it three years in a row Nova Goriziabut this year, due to increased interest (over 2,500 photography enthusiasts visited it in the three years of operation), it is moving to the capital. The photo fair has been around since the year 2012 organized by the Croatian photo club "World of Photos" in cooperation with Photoclub Vipava.
The goal of the organizers is that the fair becomes a meeting place for all those involved in photography professionally or as an amateur. As in previous years, the event will offer a platform for discussing current professional issues and enable the exchange of knowledge, experience, ideas and views on further the development of photography, regardless of form and purpose. Last year, the fair was thus divided into two parts, in one part the exhibitors presented themselves (32 exhibitors from Slovenia, Italy, Austria and Croatia), while in the other part lecture rooms were made available, where many foreign and domestic experts gave lectures on the topic of sports photography, techniques of old and alternative photography, phototherapy and computer processing of photos with programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
Similar lectures will take place this year as well, when the photo fair will host important representatives from the world of photography.
