A London nightclub for senior citizens, where rave tea parties take place

If you thought entering the sixth decade was the end of nights out, you were very wrong. Meet the only club in the world where people are taken to hospital for forgetting to take their 'drugs'. Yes, things like that happen too.

London Borough of Hackney it is real special. From now on, he can boast of another peculiarity – clubs for pensioners, who dance to the rhythms of music from the 50s. Men are in ties and elegant work; women in worn-out dresses from the last century. Everyone is happy, dancing and special, because they are part of the most unique club in the world. But why is it so unique?

The fun continues significantly less than your average night - just two hours. It is usually on her 120 participants who are over 60 years old. If it sounds absurd or not, welcome to the Posh Club, which organizes the outrageous weekly parties for retirees, who love music, dancing, vintage time and Chinese tea.

One of the performers Conrad Hamilton, who plays Elvis Presley, told London's Vice, that he thought he was coming to a party, where there are quiet, retired people, but at a party, for the first time in his life, he experienced someone shoving his granny's big panties into him. This is actually a club where you can see crutches and canes across the dance floor. They also had to call once paramedics because an 80-year-old woman was having so much fun that she forgot to take her medicine.

This event has something to offer unique: next to parties and physical activities, pensioners can socialize and banish loneliness. Many of them don't companies, and a club party is a unique way to unite and entertain. The party usually starts in the afternoon tea party, and ends with river of champagne, dancing and crutches and sticks on the dance floor.

They got the idea for the project Simon Casson and Annie Bowden – their 80-year-old mother felt very comfortable in the town of Crawley lonely, that's why they organized a tea party to which they invited some elderly neighbors. They ate sandwiches and listened to music from the 40s on an old phonograph. Because the participants had this idea really liked it, thus the Posh Club was born, which offers guests everything they need for human satisfaction: communication, laughter and physical activity.

What do you think of this idea? Do you think the waiting list for doctor's appointments would be reduced if we had a similar club for older people in our country??
