Magic number: scientists say these are the right years to get married

Young, up-and-coming, unexpected? Do you want to settle down and get married? A new study by The Institute of Family Studies found that marriage should wait, but not too long. So what is the magic age that scientists think is the right age to get married?

maAccording to the institute The Institute of Family Studies and conventional wisdom, it should marriage before the age of twenty meant the risk of divorce in the first five years - and that's just for 32 percent.

When are the right years to get married?
When are the right years to get married?

Between the ages of twenty and twenty-four is a risk 20 percent, between the ages of twenty-five and twenty-nine the risk is 15% and between the ages of thirty and thirty-four the risk is 14 percent. But then the trend reverses: from the age of thirty-five and older the risk of divorce rises to 19 percent. The data of the analysis thus show that before the age of thirty-two, the risk decreases, and every year that waits for marriage reduces the probability of divorce by 11 percent. After the age of thirty-two, the risk of divorce increases again by 5 percent per year. So it seems that age 32 years is the magic number for marriage.

What's worrying about this is that this trend is completely new; still in 1995, the wedding in mature years reduced the risk of divorce. Today, however, beyond doubt, people who marry in their thirties take more risks than those who marry in their late twenties.
