Mistakes with mascara

Application strong mascara on the lower lashese can emphasize dark circles and make the eyes droopy. If you opt for lower lash mascara, choose a lighter, waterproof formula and apply sparingly. Mascara that clumps or flakes can cause sparse lashes and tired eyes. Use mascara that promises a smooth application, and consider using a lash comb to separate lashes for a more open, youthful eye look.

Wrong choice of lipstick

Dark and matte lipsticks can make your lips look thinner and more defined and accentuated fine lines around the mouth. Choose lighter, moisturizing lipsticks or glosses to plump up your lips and give them a youthful, healthy glow. Dropping your lip liner can cause the lipstick to bleed into the fine lines around your lips, making them look older. Use a lip liner that matches your lipstick to define your lips.
