Marshall has added a new color scheme to its top-of-the-line Marshall Woburn III model – brown. And while the speaker is the same on the inside, the outside is now more retro than ever. The best part? It still roars with 150 watts of power.
Marshall knows how to make an impression. Speakers, which look like amplifiers from the golden age of rock, have long been an indispensable piece of every stylish living room. And now, when their largest home speaker – Marshall Woburn III – got a new, elegant one brown coat, it seems Marshall doesn't just make speakers anymore. Produced by furniture with character.
If you think this is just a cosmetic tweak, you're wrong. It's a thoughtful design move aimed squarely at fans of the mid-century modern aesthetic. Or simply put – those who want a speaker that looks as cool as it sounds.
Brown is the new black (or is it the old black?)
The Marshall Woburn III in brown is made for those who don't settle for ordinary. With a brown vegan leather casing, copper details and recycled plastic (70 %!), this speaker is not only "eco" but also extremely stylish.
Previously you could choose between classic black or creamy retro version, and now there's a third option – warm brown, which blends perfectly with a mahogany bar counter or an antique Danish oak coffee table. And speaking of design – yes, this model also received the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. Well deserved.
Sound you can feel – Marshall Woburn III
The Woburn III is not just a pretty box. Inside it hides five separate amplifiers, including two 15W midrange drivers, two 15W tweeters and a 90W woofer. This means a total 150W of pure rock'n'roll power, which will fill any space – from a studio apartment to a castle hall.
And while it still doesn't have support for Spotify Connect or Apple AirPlay (seriously, Marshall, can we fix that in the Woburn IV?), it offers a lot more than just Bluetooth. There are also 3.5mm input, RCA and – for all lovers of simple solutions – HDMI connection, which means the speaker can replace your boring soundbar.

Marshall Woburn III: Rock Comes Home
Marshall Woburn III It's like that friend who always comes in style, with great taste in music and a touch of nostalgia. The brown color version doesn't change the fact that it's one of the best home speakers in this price range. But still - now you can put it in a space where it will not only play well, but also look like something that has been in your home for decades.
