In Trbovlje, hungry stomachs can be pampered at the Martin inn. The old part of the inn is decorated in a coastal style, the small business room is especially suitable for socializing with business partners. Their culinary offer starts with traditional Zasava dishes and continues with classic European cuisine. We can start with octopus carpaccio on a young salad with tomato vinegar and Parmesan cheese, deer prosciutto with fruit or shrimps with muslin sauce. For those who prefer to start their meal with soup, the creamy garlic soup with shrimp tail will be very special. At Martin's, seafood lovers come into their own - they prepare capesantes au gratin with prosciutto and cheese, trout fillet in champagne sauce with corn balls and sea bass fillet on wide noodles with black truffles. Gostilna Martin is the headquarters of the Zasava Slow Food table, so they also offer a wide range of slow food. For starters, curd herb canapes, pumpkin soup with truffles, pumpkin tartare and bread balls, and homemade spinach gnocchi with prosciutto. In the climax, we are served lamb ribs with sun-dried tomatoes on pea puree and wild boar medallion with prunes, walnuts and chestnuts. The menu changes according to the seasons. In all of this, they make sure that there is still some room at the end for cooked figs in wine and honey with strawberry ice cream and sweet balsamic cream. After a good meal, hop on Zasava's Triglav - Kum or, if the energy is a little low, visit the Zasava museum, which reveals the history of Zasava's miners.
