Maserati MC20 Coupe: a new era for the Italian brand

Maserati MC20 Coupe

The Maserati MC20 Coupe heralds a new era of the "Italian trident" and is the flagship of the brand, powerful in both its image and technology.

Maserati, the new luxury trump card of the Fiat Chrysler concern (Ferrari is no longer in their ranks), officially presented the supercar MC20 Coupe, which according to the manufacturer is "the natural evolution of the MC12, the king of the race tracks". After more than 20 years, they made their own engine for the MC20, 3-liter twin-turbo V6 – Nettuno – who rests 630 horses at 7,500 rpm. This is joined by an eight-speed Getrag dual-clutch gearbox and rear-wheel drive. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than an hour 2.9 seconds, its terminal velocity is 325 km/h. Only carbon fiber was used for the body and chassis, which certainly helps the MC20 weigh less than 1,500 kilograms.

Its interior, where two seats are available, is covered in prestigious leather, complemented by two digital screens. Nevertheless, it has minimalistic polished MC20, which you will enter through the liftgate, all the most important buttons right on the steering wheel.

The super sports car will be produced in the more than 80-year-old Viale Ciro Menotti factory in Modena, and should start at the end of this year. Later, a cabriolet should be available as well electric version, which we are extremely looking forward to!
