McLaren F1 GTR vs McLaren P1 GTR

More than 20 years ago, McLaren wrote a new chapter in sports motoring when it created the McLaren F1 GTR road sports car. Despite its enviable age, this is still not for the old model, but compared to younger rivals (eg Ferrari LaFerrari and FXX K) it is still Rocky Balboa from the sixth part and not the first part. McLaren responded to the last moves of the competition with the P1 GTR model, which will be presented in Geneva, and even earlier it walked around the circuit with its "great-grandfather", the F1 GTR.

"Great Grandfather" McLaren F1 GTR is when looking at the "great-grandson", McLaren P1 GTR, probably very proud as he raised him well. His youngest "great-grandson" will have as much as 734 kW or 1000 horsepower (800 hp will be delivered by a 3.8-liter eight-cylinder with a pair of turbochargers, and 200 by an electric motor). The public will be able to lay eyes on him live for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show, which starts on March 5, 2015, and as an appetizer, McLaren prepared racing duel between, you could also say, teachers and students, i.e. F1 GTR and P1 GTR.

And as you can see in the video, the F1 GTR holds up extremely well for its age and hides it perfectly, as it doesn't look like it's more than 20 years older.
