Mercedes-Benz brought the Vision AVTR concept car to the CES 2020 fair, which represents a vision of the future and draws inspiration from the blockbuster film Avatar by director James Cameron.
Mercedes-Benz Vision AVTR unites in itself symbiosis honey to humans, machine and nature. The futuristic Mercedes drew its inspiration from the film Avatar, where they use flying "banshees".
AVTR behaves as 'living organism', which connects with its user and enables them feeling the world around them. When we put our hand on the central control unit, it will sense ours pulse, and the huge screen will be us virtual took us to our favorite part of the world.
Ambient lighting and interior elements remind us of those we saw in cinematic homes tribes Na'vi. The interior is different without steering wheel and is made of recycled materials. The exterior of the AVTR is sporty and imitative breathing and moving creatures from Pandora, such as the aforementioned “banshee”.
It can be seen on the back 33 movable 'spoilers', which are moving synchronously and contribute to aerodynamics. They intended for the prototype organically battery, with capacity 110 kWh, which has enough energy for up to 700 kilometers a long way. It is founded on graphene and organic ingredients, and the manufacture of the battery does not require any rare metals. Electric motors in AVTR produce 350 kW (476 HP) of power. For even more mobility, the AVTR can also move sideways, like cancer, until 30° angle.
