A superbly designed micro-apartment in Manhattan would never be said to measure a mere 40 square meters, because at first glance it seems much larger than it really is.
We all know that an apartment measuring 40 square meters is small. Especially if the entire square footage of the apartment is spread over several floors. Stairs take up quite a few square meters, which would otherwise come in handy. Architects at Spect Harpman Architects still managed to be a fun micro-apartment located on the sixth floor of an old building on Manhattan, transformed into a real luxury residence, which would not be defended in any way.
Z minimalist with a design that makes the most of every corner of the apartment, they designed an apartment that has everything we need. A well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room and a bedroom with a lot of space for clothes, as the space under the stairs leading to the terrace with a great view has been transformed into a spacious closet. The staircase leading to the bedroom is also used, as a functional bathroom is hidden under it.
With minimalistic whiteness, they achieved airiness, with the utilization of the space under the stairs, exceptional functionality. In the gallery, let's see how unrecognizable the apartment looked before the renovation.
