Microsoft: HoloLens glasses are changing the way we see the world

At a recent conference, Microsoft presented the HoloLens augmented reality glasses, which literally change the way we see the world. The headset with a wireless holographic computer shows the user holograms with three-dimensional objects over the real world, which he can control with the help of hand movements.

Microsoft with glasses HoloLens, based on the first holographic computing platform (Windows 10) enables a user experience that goes beyond screens and the previous one interaction with computer content, as it transfers the latter into the real world. This is made possible by transparencies holographic lenses high resolution and surround sound, so that holograms are not only seen, but also heard. We are placed in samo the center of the computing experience, which gives a new view of reality, which is complemented by access to information, entertainment and communications, to which only the screen previously held the key. With the HoloLens glasses, both worlds are one, one over the other.

The heart of the glasses that are without wires, is a holographic, "human-thinking" processor Holographic Processing Unit (HPU), and the glasses are responsive to ours voice commands and gestures and process multiple terabytes of data received from advanced sensors. They should not be mixed with glasses Oculus Rift, because they move us into virtual reality, while HoloLens is about altered reality (as in temporarily withdrawn glasses Google Glass). Will Microsoft's HoloLens really change the way we see the world?
