The MINI Aceman is an electric crossover concept that hints at what the design and technology of the MINI brand will be like in the near future. The interior looks modest, but it surprises us by displaying data directly on the dashboard.
MINI Aceman is an electric crossover concept that can be classified between the Cooper and Countryman models in terms of size. At the moment, information about the drivetrain is not yet known, as the purpose of the concept is to present the design language and new technology that will be available from the MINI brand in the near future. The car is dressed in the modern color Icy Sunglow Green, while the roof is painted in traditional British Racing Green.
Concept Aceman is the first representative of the so-called MINI charismatically simple design, which combines minimalism and sustainability. The shape still remains the classic ʺMINIʺ, with a long wheelbase and short overhangs. The concept measures in length 4.05 meters, which is almost 30 cm shorter compared to the MINI Countryman model. The front part represents the evolution of the current look of the MINI brand. Due to the electric drive, there is no need for air vents, and instead of them, the concept uses LED lights to ``illuminate'' the front in the colors of the ``Union Jack'' flag.
The interior of the concept Aceman is bright and minimalistic. In keeping with tradition, it still has a circular instrument cluster in the center of the dashboard. In this case, it also serves as a screen for the infotainment system. In addition to the central screen, the concept can project data onto the dashboard itself, such as a map and navigation instructions. You won't find leather inside the Aceman, the upholstery is made of woven recycled textiles, and the steering wheel is covered in green velour. When someone approaches the car, it only greets them, in the form of sound and light, while not forgetting to wink at one ʺeyeʺ. The MINI Aceman will be presented to the public for the first time at the conference Gamescom, 23 August in Cologne.
