The luxurious villa seen in the first episode of the sixth season of Netflix's The Crown can be yours this holiday. The villa, where Princess Diana was also a regular guest, can be rented through the Airbnb application.

Princess Diana raises the dust again. The final season of the Netflix series The Crown offered a new insight into British life royal family. The ten episodes of the sixth season follow the royal family in the late 1990s, and the main action revolves around Princess Diana and her relationship with Prince Charles, later courtship by Mohamed Al-Fayed and her tragic death.

The season received mixed reviews, but no one can deny that it is in this sixth season that viewers can see the most luxurious locations. And costumes. Among the filming locations for The Crown is the breathtaking yellow Balearic villa featured in the opening episode. The luxurious villa is equipped with as many as seven bedrooms and ten bathrooms.

Why Princess Diana Loved The Yellow Castle

Lush gardens surround a picturesque pool, hot tub and terrace with shaded living and dining areas. In the series, she was introduced as Al-Fayed's villa in St.Tropez, where Diana and Dodi are said to have met for the first time. It was originally reserved for royal families, but then the owners decided to offer it to the general public as well. For a hefty sum, of course.

The Yellow Palace has opened its doors to everyone on the Airbnb platform. The villa is located near the town of Puerto d'Andratx on the coast of Mallorca and is accessible by both land and sea. A royal retreat, fittingly crowned head, offers guests the chance to experience the grandeur and elegance depicted in the iconic television series. The property was put up for sale in 2015 with an asking price of £70 million. The rental price is also anything but modest. For a week of vacation, you will deduct 44,660 British pounds.
