The Moscow Mule is currently the trendiest cocktail, which is served in copper glasses according to the rules. The basis of the cocktail is vodka and ginger beer with the addition of lime juice. But for you, we found out how this Moscow Mule cocktail was created and some of the best recipes for its preparation.

The Moscow Mule was first created in the United States in the 1940s. At that time, vodka was rarely consumed in America, it was mostly perceived as Russian. John G. Martin, the owner of America's first vodka, wanted to change that. But he had quite a few problems convincing Americans to try his vodka. Together with a friend who was involved in the production of ginger beer, they decided to mix some vodka and ginger beer. They added lime juice and ice. And so the Moscow Mule was born.

In copper glasses, the flavors are even stronger, and the drink stays cold.
