A month ago we read about the best albums of the past year, now it's time to predict the new one. We have already heard some chirps, some rumors will obviously be confirmed, but it seems that 2018 will also be a very varied year musically.
Big names are returning to the scene. Well, they didn't go anywhere, maybe they just wintered or spent creative hours in the studios. Among them, let's just mention the almost evergreen and phenomenal Justin Timberlake, lovely Ariana Grande, of Manchester The 1975, long missing Arctic Monkeys and on and on. So, clear out your mobile devices, because the new bera is going to be massive!
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE (Man of the Woods)
On February 2, Justin Timberlake's album will hit the shelves again after five years. "Man of the Woods" will be Justin's fifth studio album, from which the first single Filthy is already playing on the airwaves. We're already counting down the days.
CAMILA CABELLO (Camila)
Teenage sensation Camila Cabello climbed onto the music stage with the mega-hit Havana. We met her back in 2012, when she appeared on The X Factor show, and after that her career just took off. The first studio album is called "Camila", and it was released just these days.
FALL OUT BOY (Mania)
The American rockers Fall Out Boy, who impressed us the most ten years ago with the song "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race", were creative again. They will release their seventh album at the end of January and we hope it will be as big as the previous one.
ARIANA GRANDE
American singer and actress Ariana Grande, who started her career on Broadway, has been entertaining us with her vocal skills and danceable pop beats for quite some time now. This year, she will release her fourth studio album in as many as five years. The name of the album and the release date are not yet known.
ARCTIC MONKEYS
The guys haven't released anything for five years, we missed them. With their latest album "AM" from 2013, the British rockers finally conquered American hearts with the anthemic Do I Wanna Know? The title and release date are not yet known.
ZAYN MALIK
The former member of One Direction, who was the first to embark on an independent journey, was often seen in various duets in the last two years. In 2016, the British young man released his debut album Mind of Mine, and this year he announces a new one. He says that he has matured as an author, and we look forward to what he has created.
RIHANNA
The megastar's ninth album is on the way, or so it is rumored. Since the title of the album has not yet been released, the biggest fans have named it #R9, which is a kind of working title.
FRANZ FERDINAND (Always Ascending)
The Scottish pop-punks have already experienced the peak of their career, but that does not mean that they have nothing more to say with music. Their new album Always Ascending, produced under the direction of Philippe Zdar, will be released on February 9.
THE 1975 (Music for Cars)
The guys from Manchester shook up the alternative pop scene with their last album, which bears the meaningful title "I Love It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It", and it's hard to imagine a better album. But considering that they set out to record their third album, which will leave such an impression as the third album of the legendary Radiohead Ok Computer, then we are in for a real musical treat.
JACK WHITE
Energetic Jack White will delight his fans again after four years, as he announced that a new album is coming this year, which he named Boarding House Reach. The release date is not yet known, but two singles have already been released, which hint at what we can expect.
