The film Prehod (The Rift) is a Serbian sci-fi thriller with Katarina Čas in the lead role, which recently impressed the public at the Belgrade international film festival FEST, and is coming to the regular schedule of Slovenian cinemas on April 28, 2016. The film, produced by a Serbian-Slovenian-Korean international the well-established Slovenian actress, who also starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Pacino, plays the sleeper CIA agent Liz Ward.
The Rift is an interesting genre project by a Serbian director Dejan Zečević, who entrusted a Slovenian woman with one of the main roles in the film Katarina Čas, and she is accompanied by a Serbian film star Dragan Micanovic and fellow Americans Monte Markham and Ken Foree.

In the film, Katarina Čas transforms into Liz Ward, a sleeper agent of the US Central Intelligence Agency Cia, who is struggling to get over the death of his son. The mourning is interrupted by an emergency operation in Serbia, where he has to provide security with American and Serbian agents crashed US military satellite. The routine operation turns out to be anything but that, as there is no sign of the satellite at the crash site. The agents' only trail leads to an abandoned silk factory, where it awaits them a horrible surprise.
And what did Časova say about her role in the film Prehod, which will make your skin crawl, when she unfortunately broke her leg during filming? "My character is a woman with a difficult past. She is full of emotions because she has lost a child, which is the most terrible thing. But it's about a strong woman who finds the strength to go on. It's not just a blonde with a specific task, but a complex character with depth." The film will premiere in Slovenia April 21, 2016 in the Bežigrad cinema.
