The film PS Ljubim te (PS I Love You, 2007) will get a romantic sequel!

Lovers of romantic movies, get ready! The popular film PS I love you from 2007 will get a sequel. And this is what we know about him so far…

In 2007, a tear-jerking romantic drama with Hillary Swank sailed into cinemas around the world. PS I Love You (PS I Love You). A film based on the book of the same name Cecelia Ahern, tells the story of Holly (Swank), who shortly after death of her husband (Gerard Butler) receives a bundle of his letters. What she quickly realizes is that he has dedicated one letter to her for each month until the end of the year, and each of them carries instructions on how to cope with grieving his death and move on, as well as a signature: PS: I love you!

The film brought in a staggering 156 million US dollars worldwide. And now, decades later, fans of this romantic comedy will be able to see a sequel.

What will happen in the sequel to PS I love you?

The author of the book, Cecelia Ahern, she told the online portal Stylist: “It's been seven years since Gerry died and six years since Holly read his last letter. Now she's moving on with her life, she has a new job, she's fallen in love again, she's selling her house, she's really picked herself up and feels good. After talking about her experience with Gerry in a podcast with her sister, she is approached by a group or club called PS I Love You Club. Everyone is inspired by her story and the letters that Gerry prepared before his death. They too are terminally ill or have serious illnesses, so they ask Holly to help them compose letters for their loved ones.”

Ahern continues: “When she spends some time with this group of people and tries to understand their situations in order to prepare the perfect letters, she finds herself in the strange position of having to look at it all from Gerry's perspective. She is forced to look at the letters in a new way, to think about the reasons why they were written, what they really meant and whether they were the right letters for her: did they help her or hinder her?”

It is not yet known whether Hillary Swank will continue to portray Holly. There aren't actually any cast details available, as well movie release date not yet confirmed.

Well, one thing is certain: we will obviously need more than that to continue the film a box of tissues!
