Cafe Society is a romantic comedy drama directed by Woody Allen, which will open this year's Cannes Film Festival. This is the third such honor for this American director, and just as many times Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg, who starred together in the films Lunapark (Adventureland) and American Ultra, fall in love in the film.
The movie Cafe Society has already Woody Allen's 49th film. The film offers an insight into the cafeteria society of the 1930s; we see it through the eyes of a young screenwriter (Jesse Eisenberg), which arrives in Hollywood, to make it in the film industry, falling head over heels in love (Kristen Stewart).
In addition to the aforementioned couple, the film features many other well-known names, among others Blake Lively (Workbook, Green Lantern) and Steve Carell (Office, 40-year-old virgin).

Cafe Society will be Allen's third film to open to fame French Film Festival on the Cote d'Azur. This honor went to him already with the film The Fall of Hollywood in 2002 and nine years later with the film Midnight in Paris, in which, just like in the movie Cafe Society, he returned to the past, only to the 20s of the last century.
