Playing It Cool is the story of him, the Narrator (Chris Evans), a young man who does not believe in love. But one day at a charity dinner, where he pretends to be a philanthropist, he meets Nja (Michelle Monaghan), a woman who takes his breath away and shakes the ground under his feet. The only problem is that she is engaged. Nevertheless, he enters into a platonic relationship with her so that he can see her all the time and try to win her heart.

Playing It Cool is an American romantic comedy in which quite a few famous Hollywood names appear. Among them is Captain America himself Chris Evans, well Michelle Monagham, which we watched in the first season of True Detective, Anthony Mackie, who accompanied Evans in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Patrick Warburton (How to Get Rid of the Boss?), Topher Grace (Oh, that seventies) and Luke Wilson (Blonde from Harvard).

The story revolves around the writer (Evans as Narrator), who would like to write about the action, but his the publisher (Mackie) wants him to write something at first romantic. The problem is that the Narrator doesn't believe in love. But when he realizes Her (Monaghan), falls in love with her, but only then realizes that she is engaged with Stuffy (Gruffudd).
