Snowden is a biographical drama about a former contract employee of the US National Security Agency (NSA), who made global headlines in June 2013 after sacrificing his life for the greater good and exposing secret government surveillance of phone and online data through the Guardian newspaper ordinary citizens and foreign high statesmen. The feature film about the whistleblower was directed by the legendary Olive Stone, who is no stranger to this type of film, as he already has biographical films JFK and Nixon.
The movie Snowden tells one of the greatest stories of our time about the most famous whistleblower in the world to Edward Snowden. The biographical drama is based on the book by British journalist Luke Harding The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the World's Most Wanted Man and books Time of the Octopus lawyer and professor Anatoly Kucheren.

He got into the role of Snowden Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and his girlfriend Lindsay Mills gave a cute performance Shailene Woodley.
