The Lobster is probably the most bizarre romantic movie that exists under the free sun. And if True Detective didn't turn out according to Colin Farrell's plans, the Irish actor will definitely win back his followers with his role in this romantic satire from director Yorgos Lanthimos, which received a lot of approval at the Cannes Film Festival with its absurd humor at the expense of the nature of relationships.
The movie The Lobster is set in a near dystopian-tinged future where they single people according to the law of the City transported to the Hotel, where they are obliged to stay within 45 days they look for a partner. A case of a matter of life and death, because if they fail, they are turned into an animal (by choice) and banished to Gozd. The architect David also landed in the Hotel (Colin Farrell)- his "last wish" is lobster ("lobster") - who does not play by the rules and escapes to the Forest, where he falls in love with a short-sighted recluse (Rachel Weisz, The Mummy, Oz the Mighty).
